 Orgonite is what researcher Karl Welz named for his compound of catalyzed resin and metal particles. This compound is based on the discovery by Dr. Reich who found when layers of organic (the catalyzed resin) and inorganic (the metal particles) were combined, it attracted and released orgone energy.

The basic principle is that it works as an energy filter, attracting and collecting the surrounding energy, transmuting any harmful and unbalanced parts, then releasing it as an ambient or life-force (orgone) energy.

A couple named Don and Carol Croft made this compound but with the addition of a quartz crystal to help orgonize and broaden the energy field. They started placing (or what is called "gifting') these devices at locations known to be harmful energy emitters, such a cell-phone tower. They noticed how it improved the feel or energy of the surrounding area and shared this information through the internet. This started a grassroots movement aimed at distributing these devices to counteract harmful and unhealthy locations.

Outdoor/ Gifting- This is usually made with the basic ingredients of catalyzed resin, metal shavings and a quartz crystal. The term "gifting" describes the act of placing generators in locations to help the surrounding energy, and was coined by an early orgoniter DB.
Indoor/ Personal - This is sometimes made with added crystals and stones, which can enhance the orgone energy with those vibrational qualities. It is placed in your home, office , vehicle, and carried or worn on your person as a pendant. Some are also designed for specific therapeutic purposes.

 A name taken from the Monty Python movie " The  Holy Grail". It's usually made in a conical or pyramid shape, and is generally larger and more powerful than a tb.
